Well, Sarah Does Mean Princess...

"In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will." Ephesians 1:5

We received this picture of Sarah just days before her first birthday. We're not sure why they have her so dressed up, but she looks cute anyway.

My Life in Vietnam

"Religion that God the Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows..." James 1:27

These pictures of Sarah were taken of her at the orphanage towards the end of May 2006. She is 10.5 months old. We are very blessed that her orphange takes such good care of her, but we are ready to give her a forever home and family!

You Melt Our Hearts!

"Every good and perfect gift is from above..." James 1:17

In January of 2005 it became evident that the path to parenthood was going to look a little bit different for us. We spent the spring researching different types of adoption and settled on international. In June '05 something very exciting happened. Vietnam, after a 3 year moratorium, reopened their doors to American families to adopt from their Social Justice Department. This agreement meant children living in orphanages would have a home and a family. This agreement also meant that we would get to experience the joy of parenthood through the miracle of adoption. On April 13, 2006 we received an "ultrasound" of sorts in the form a what looked more like a portrait than a referral picture. A sweet baby girl with a smile that melts our hearts! We love you Sarah Beth!
