It all started Sarah's first winter home when she was a mere 17 months old. We took her with us on the annual youth ski trip to Colorado. On the long (14 hour) bus ride she made eyes with Josh Miles, the high school youth director. Ever since then she has had a thing for him, wanting to cozy up next to him whenever he is around. Even before she had many words in her vocabulary, she could say, "Josh." In September Josh's wife Jaclyn took Sarah home with her to have dinner. Apparently they ate rice because ever since that evening we hear, "Eat rice Josh!" come out of her mouth a minimum of 5-10 times a day. (And, no kidding, she just said it to Michael as I type.) Sometimes she whispers it and sometimes she shouts it. Sometimes she tells it to her baby doll and sometimes she tells it to her peers. Sometimes she tell it to us, sometimes she just shouts it out to no one in particular. It is always completely random. And it is DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!

That is so funny! Had a blast yesterday. We'll talk soon.
That is sooo funny.
You should make a bowl for Josh for Christmas that says "Eat Rice Josh" on the inside.
The whispering to baby cracks me up too.

AHAHA! This cracks me up. She is destined to marry a redhead. :) And it's great that she said it while you were writing the post. Point in case. :) See you tonite!
WOW! I am so sorry that she is driving you crazy with saying "eat rice Josh." Usually the women who swoon over Josh are over 80. :0)
