Sarah started taking gymnastics in October with her bestie Avi Joy. (Sadly, I do not have a picture to share.) She loves it and would prefer to go everyday.
From there, we went into pumpkin patch mode. There was the kindergarten class field trip to Livesay Orchard.

This was followed up by our own trip to Carmichael's over Fall Break with my one of my good friends and her two. On that day, we saw precisely 1/3 of Tulsa and 1/2 of our Bible study group there. Or, it felt that way. It was our only pretty day over break.

September, October, and November Saturdays were filled with tailgates - mostly at our adopted campus TU. This is a place where the kids can run free, load up on junk, and have their every whim and desire met by willing university students.

This Halloween was our most fun yet. I dare say the excitement level of the kids rivaled Christmases past. Andrew had me in stitches with his quotes from that night. At each door he said, "Knock, knock. It's us. We're here for the candy!" At a few houses he said, "That's enough candy now." (Who is this kid?) Towards the end, when he decided not to carry his "too heavy" bucket to the doors, he said, "It's okay mom. I'll just tell them to give me one piece for my hand."

Last Sunday, the 7th, we celebrated the sacrament of baptism. November is National Adoption Month and the 7th was Orphan Sunday. While we didn't intentionally pick Samuel's baptism day to be on Orphan Sunday, it was a beautiful day for our family to celebrate it.

Most recently, Sarah was fitted for glasses. We think she looks pretty adorable.

And, just because....
